Overview
The Makerspace serves as a dynamic workshop, boasting an impressive array of cutting-edge tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters, a fully-equipped wood shop, a metal shop, and an assortment of other machinery. As a freelance UX/UI Designer, I got hired to redesign their website to better serve the community.

Old System
The old website lacked the welcoming spirit our Makerspace embodies. It was dull and confusing, hindering visitors from fully experiencing the creativity and innovation it has to offer. Thus, I was brought in to redesign it so it reflects its dynamic community and exploration of new ideas.
User Research
As a Qualcomm intern, I gained firsthand insights into its users' needs, shaping the Makerspace website's goals to be user-centric, engaging, and focused on enhancing the overall experience for the users. This intel allowed me to prioritize features like the how to get started section, the tutorial videos, and other features I deemed were important for new users coming into the Makerspace.
